OEC cut - opinions please!

Still pursuing stones to use for a bezel set pendant - the thrill of the chase! I wanted a trannie, but am having a difficult time finding one, so am branching out to 'less wonky' OECs.

That being said, what do some of the far more experienced stone hunters think of this one? I can't QUITE see it as clearly as I want to, but I know other people are much better at reading less-than-ideal photos than I am. The table looks a bit large, yes?

Table is gigantic - you can see that from the last pic in the first batch, even with a steep crown the overall crown height will be low. In the second set I think I see a ring of "mush" around the center facets -

Ginger, in the interest of education, I want to ask: When you look at the facet patterning does it appear crisp and symmetrical to your eyes?

No, I thought this was a dud. It was more of a "maybe I'm missing that it's really spectacular", grasping-at-straws solicit of opinion. I appreciate the confirmation that it's not what I'm looking for.

I've emailed Adam, but haven't heard back - holiday season and all that. Have kept an eye on JBEG stock, as always, but nothing has captured me. So I've turned to hunting through ebay when I have a few free minutes. It's actually a bit like a treasure hunt!

In my experience, sometimes poor photography can make it harder to *see* the well cut stones -- like out of focus, or dark, or poor angles -- but even then a well cut stone is evident if you really look.
