Hey everyone,

So I''ve been cruising the internet and I came across the Niwaka site and FELL IN LOVE WITH the "Dawn" engagement ring. Now....their website says that a 0.30-0.38 ct is $2870 and that a 0.25-0.29 ct is $2310. Now from what I''ve read about the cost of their diamonds and seeing what other rings on their site are priced at, am I too assume that I get the diamond and the setting for $2870 or is just the setting $2870? Baring in mind that the matching wedding band (both in platinum) is only $1290.

I just want to make sure that I don''t get excited if the setting itself is $2870 and the diamond is extra. In which case, does anyone know if you can just purchase the setting?

You are right, that is how it sounds according to their website. I would want to know the quality of the diamond, cut, color, clarity, no?

Definitely! I just wanted to make sure before I contact them that their prices include the diamond. I had heard that they were pricey so I wasn''t sure if that was the cost of just the setting or included the diamond too.

I''m thinking of buying the Dawn ring myself, so I went to the store. The base setting for the .30-.39 ring is $1,440. Add the diamond to that price. Here are some prices they quoted:
.37 VS1 E Color - $2,300
.37 VS2 E Color - $2,130
.37 VS1 F Color - $2,130

Hope that helps. Reading around, they say that the rings are expensive, but I really don''t have a good point of comparison. I asked one jeweler to copy it for me, and he quoted a much higher price. Unfortunately, it takes 6 weeks to order the ring.
