Hi Everyone,
First, I would like to thank all of you in advance, as I continue my search for the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend. I have been researching for a while now, and have been to numerous sites trying to narrow my search options.
I have a budget of $5,000 for the setting and the diamond, and have already narrowed down my options for the setting. My girlfriend sent me the following picture a few months back and I want to surprise her with a ring that looks as close to it as possible:

She would never expect me to buy her a ring like this, as she is very simple, but very classy. She would be satisfied with any ring actually--I just want to give her a ring that is almost as beautiful as she is.
I have narrowed down the settings to either of the following from the James Allen website:

I have searched through tons of cushion cut diamonds, and have hit a wall. I had the following diamond visually inspected by someone at JA and was told it would face up completely "eye clean"

Is this a good match, or am I wayyyyy off???
My goal is to propose on the 23rd of this month, as we will be traveling with her family and friends to Hersheypark. This would be an ideal situation, as she is really big on family and would want them to share this experience with us.
I am open to any suggestions and advice you kind folks can offer, especially if I can get a better bang for my buck with other configurations.
