Hi everyone!

I am wondering if you can help me to decide which stone maybe better

Both are approximately the same price

1) 1.47 carat
H colour, VS1, triple excellent - symmetry, polish, cut
Total depth % 60.4
Table size % 59
Crown angle 33.6
pavilion angle 40.9
fluorescence none
culet none

HCA score 1.4 - Light return excellent, fire excellent, scintillation very good, spread very good

2) 1.39 carat
G colour, VS2, excellent - symmetry, cut. polish - Very good
Total depth % 62.2
Table size % 55
Crown angle 33.7
pavilion angle 40.9
fluorescence none
culet none

HCA score 1.1 - Light return excellent, fire excellent, scintillation excellent, spread very good

My concern abt diamond 1 is that the scintillation is only "Very Good"

And as for diamond 2, my concern is that the polish is only "Very good"..

I am not sure how to weigh the 2 as to which is a bigger concern I should take into consideration.

Please help thanks!!

The HCA is just one of many tools in helping pick the right diamond, should not be used as the only one...Please post picture images and Idealscope images.

I like the first one better. Better clarity, weighs more.

The 1.47 is a "60/60" stone - https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/60-60-proportioned-diamond

Due to the larger table it will likely have less fire (colored light return) and more white light return.

The 2nd stone has a smaller table, resulting in more fire, and a more balanced return of colored and white light.

GIA XXX isn't enough - now you need to get idealscope images.
