Hey, everyone! I stumbled across this website while helping my brother choose an engagement ring for his girlfriend, and I thought I would join!
My situation: my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months, and I am sure he is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love him so much, and I''ve never felt more in tune with anyone in my life. This is incredibly ironic, because I used to be one of the most cynical and anti-love people ever, and now I''m so madly in love with someone.
We started dating 6 months ago, after a friend of ours thought we would like each other and introduced us. We''ve been inseparable ever since.
We are both very young (I''m 20, and he is 22). We have no intention of rushing anything--I will at least be out of college, probably grad school before we get married. He has a very good job, as he graduated from a great school in three years.
Ironically enough, I''m actually the one putting off the engagement. He wants to get engaged in the next few months, but I want to be dating for at least a year, which would put us to next summer, and then the first semester next year I will be in Mexico, and I want to wait til after that. But he is already looking for my perfect ring (he knows what I like, he made sure to ask). He sends me links to settings and stones all the time, it is so cute!
So here I am, and I''m sure I will be here for at least one more year, maybe more if I keep putting it off.
