.57 carat center stone J/VS2 purchased from Good Old Gold (LOVE them!!)
Platinum/18kt rose gold setting with pink diamond halo and sides
Total carat weight is 1.11
Ring size 5.5 for reference

And for fun, the promise ring from Zales that I wore for about 2 years... really makes you appreciate honest places like Good Old Gold that make the process so painless. Still great memories nonetheless but the quality difference amazes me!

That is beautiful!! And it dedinitely looks bigger than a .57!! I LOVE the color. When I first saw it, I that it was close to colorless!

luv2sparkle - It is similar to the Beaudry but without the engraving and a couple other small differences.

slg47 - I agree - it does look larger than I originally thought it would (always a bonus, right??) lol

hot ice - Thank you - you have my DREAM ring though!!!

gemgirl - I WISH I could do a pink diamond/rose gold band. I'm actually allergic to anything gold so I won't be going that route. The only reason I can wear this ring is because only the platinum touches my skin. I'll actually be going with the Whiteflash Danielle band in platinum below:

getting excited - The color was a pleasant surprise - I never expected a J to look so white. Definitely sticking to those from now on since I'm not that color sensitive (lucky me!!)
