Hello! I''ve been "lurking" here for quite a few months. My husband and live overseas (he''s in the Air Force stationed in Germany). Anyway, when we got married three years ago, it was sort of a shotgun wedding after he got orders to Germany (this may sound familiar to other military wives!). Not a lot of time for ring shopping etc. and I didn''t want to just get "anything".
So, we got the diamond (.95ct, VVS2, H-I - not sure of the other specs, but it''s beautiful). I thought we''d find a ring over here, but I''m not crazy about a lot of the e-rings in Europe. They do a lot of bezels (which I DO like, but not for me) and their prong-set rings just never did it for me. Plus with the exchange rate from Dollar to Euro...
Needless to say, after THREE LONG YEARS I''m finally getting the setting that I adore thanks to this website!! I''m getting the Michael B Petite Princess with matching band. I''ve always loved his work and have seen it in person, but until I found this website, I didn''t really know where or how to get one.
Well, I contacted Bill Pearlman at Pearlman''s Jewelers and am getting the rings from him. I first heard mention of him here. He is awesome!! I can''t say enough good things about him. He is especially supportive of the military, which I really appreciated. He contacted me immediately after I sent him an email. He always wrote me back really wonderful stories and was so personable. Much better customer service than you find in most B & M stores.
My ring won''t be done for a few more weeks, but as soon as it is I''ll definitely post pics! I''m so excited! I know my diamond is "small" compared to most here, but it is beautiful. I can''t wait to see it on the Michael B.
If anyone has their own Michael B petite princess rings I would love to see pics! It might help me get through the next few weeks.
