New iPhone 4S!

Were any of you able to get yours activated? ATT is so overloaded that it's been trying for like an hour now. Im just going to wait til I get home, and then ship my friend the 4.

I was on the phone with TMobile (I love TMobile!) and they were saying that a retail unlocked iPhone 4S would run on their 3G network.

Anyone know anything about this?

Doesn't seem worth it to run on the EDGE network, but on 3G...I might be willing to make that switch. The plans are just SO much better (in my view) that it would make up for paying retail and I love their service!

I don't know about this, but there are definitely some Android and Blackberry phones on T-Mobile that are worth checking out...Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze, and Blackberry Bold 9900 are all 4G capable. Personally I prefer Android over iPhone even when both are available, so I'd give one of these a look. I think it's a lot safer (and cheaper!) than paying retail for an iPhone, unlocking it, and trying to make it run on an unsupported network.

I have SO's used 3GS and it. I've only ever had Samsungs.

SO has a 4. BTW, the 4 is much faster than the 3GS.

We're going to skip the 4S.

I know hm well enough. He'll want the 5 when this contract renews (they let us upgrade one line early).

I'll get his 4.

I'll be thrilled with my phone as long as the battery holds out.

Hubby upgraded his 3gs yesterday to the 4s and I think he loves it more than me. I must say, the Siri feature is awesome and I'm looking forward to getting mine this week.

I like mine though I have not messed with SIRI. I noticed when I tap near my camera on the back it sounds like something is rattling or moving but according to the iphone forums that's normal. IF anything changes like it gets louder or something, then Ill go to Apple.
