I was chatting with a friend earlier about my attempts to keep from planning my entire wedding before I''m even engaged, and she pointed me over here as she said it kept her sane during her wait. So here I am!

My boyfriend and I met this summer, and by about four months in both of us felt like we were sure we wanted to spend our lives together. We have tentatively talked about getting married sometime in 2010, so I''m hoping for a 2009 proposal. So please add me to the list and I''m looking forward to hanging out with y''all!

I am super lucky in this aspect that my college roommate, E, works for a jeweler. FF wants to pick out the ring on his own, but he knows that E will guide him both towards something that I will really like and something that will be a good deal for him. Up until this weekend I thought I was leaning toward wanting an asscher, but FF ended up suggesting we go into a jewelry store while Christmas shopping yesterday

and now I have no idea what I want!
