My brothers fiance passed away last week and he has mentioned putting the diamonds in a mens platinum setting. They just moved a week before she passed away and of course he has been out of work...he won''t say it but money has got to be tight right now so i would like to help him out with this. I have no clue where to start where to go or any clue with what i might expect to pay. someone else mentioned maybe around $1000 or so but that was just a guess. can i just go to any jewelry store? any suggestions at all are welcome.

sorry if the post was unclear, i am a little out of it dealing with every thing. i want to help him get this done and pay for it.
he wants it designed into a mens ring for himself
he has the diamonds right now on his finaces engagement ring he just needs to get a mens platinum setting designed and the diamonds from her engagement ring put in his.
