#JOTW New girl in a vintage dress - 3.243 I VS2 ACA

I just upgraded my stone, 3.443 J SI1 ACA, to a 3.243 I VS2 ACA.

It is gorgeous and I am so pleased with this decision! Although it is a tad smaller at 9.5mm, the bump in color and clarity more than make up for a barely noticeable size difference. Both color and clarity improvements are definitely noticeable. My husband even noticed the color difference. She is sharp and crisp and glorious! I had her set in CvB Dahlia that I had from a previous stone. It is a beautiful setting and the petal prongs add to the dimension of the stone.

I will still be on the lookout for a 9.7-9.8mm stone so that I can use my Erika Winters setting but until it comes along, I am very happy with this girl (stone and setting)!

Thanks! It's the small Eden band by Singlestone. I really like it and wear it a lot! I haven't worn bands with stones since the pandemic started. They just get too gross using sanitizer so much.

Ooh, I wondered if it was that one! It is beautiful and looks great with your solitaire. Just the right touch of edge. I have been thinking I would like to get some all metal bands because of the sanitizer issue. It gunks up stones quickly!
