Was there ever an "old everyday earrings" poll?

I'm curious to know about the earrings and habits of PS-ers. I know we've talked about sleeping in jewelry and car price v. ring price

but my own recent hunt for studs makes me curious:

ETA: Darn - I messed up my first poll - I was supposed to leave an option for non-diamond ...

I also wanted to find out:

2) how often "everyday" is for you:
do you most frequently wear the same earrings 6-7 days/ week
3-5 days a week
or do you have so many earrings you change it up often and have no "everyday earrings"

3) Are your "everyday earrings" set in:
platinum
white gold
yellow gold
other

My "every day" diamond studs are 1.2 ctw WF 8-prong martini in 18k WG (would have preferred platinum of course!) Would also have preferred 2+ ctw if I could have afforded it.

I rarely wear the studs alone... I have some cute vintage-style micro pave jackets that I wear them with all the time.

I wear this combo 4-6 days per week. The other days, I swap for other earrings, mostly also diamond (some contemporary, some antique/estate). I rarely wear costume jewelry, except for some fun beaded necklaces.

I used to wear my diamond heirloom earrings (in yellow gold) everyday (7 days a week), but now that my gemstone earrings are set, I wear those everyday now. Since the leverbacks are interchangeable, I trade out the stones weekky for different coloured gemstones.

My everyday earrings I never take off are my .3 CTW bezel set platinum pair. They are in my second hole, which closes fast if I take earrings out so I only remove them once every couple of weeks to clean them. I don''t have "bigger" studs, b/c I would never wear them- I''m a dangly earring girl. I usually wear my .5 CTW white gold huggie-hoops or big, thin yellow gold hoops in the first hole, depending on my mood and what else I''m wearing.

As of tomorrow (because that''s when I get to go to Whiteflash and pick them up! yay!) my everyday earrings will be 0.64 tcw ACA studs in white gold martini settings...I think the size is perfect for everyday wear...not too big, but definitely big enough to be noticed!

I have always wanted a pair of diamond stud earrings. Im holding out for a good quality smaller pair. It will still be a while until I get them though.

I wear my studs (1.16 total) on average, 4-5 days a week in winter. In the summer it's a bit less, as I've got a lot of pretty sterling/sterling and stone earrings that I wear.

My everyday earrings are Victorian-style dangles in yellow gold with one small diamond in each. I''d say 10-15 points in each earring.

They were my grandmother''s, but I don''t know where she got them. They may well be Victorian, or they may just be Victorian-style.

If you took the amethyst drop off of these earrings, turned them upside down, and hung them from a wire with a little hook closure, you''d have my earrings.

I have large studs from Tiffany''s so I took my other studs, our first Xmas gift after marriage almost 18 years ago, and reset them. They are one carat each. I set them in a french wire pave setting so they dangle down a bit. Not sure the weight of the diamonds in the setting. The setting is 18K white gold. I wear them much more often now. Before they just sat there and were not really calling to me.

I have a pair of 2/3 tcw ACA studs. I got them a year ago today, and I still love them and wear them just about everyday.

My everyday earrings are 8mm freshwater pearl, set in 14K yellow gold

Mine are .6 total weight in the handmade Whiteflash bezel setting. I wear them literally every day because I never really wore earrings until I got them. I love ''em!

I have really thin earlobes, so everything looks way bigger in my ear.

My everyday earrings are tiny bezel .10 ctw Tiffany Diamonds by the Yard set in platinum. My ears are super sensitive, so I can only wear platinum or titanium (like for body piercings).

When I am going somewhere fancy, I wear my .5 ctw diamond studs in a platinum martini setting.

I either wear my 1.5 ctw studs or sterling hoops about 3/4" in diameter. I have looked for similar white gold hoops but haven''t found any I like as well yet! The other earrings I have on my wishlist are small Beverley K huggie hoops and either bezel set sapphires or smaller diamonds. After looking at sapphires online, I have decided that matching diamonds are MUCH easier to find! But there''s no point in my having a lot of earrings because I do tend to wear the same thing most of the time.

My diamond studs are about .67 tcw, but their not the only earrings that I wear. I like dangly earrings and have four pairs that are silver with semi-precious stones (topaz, amethyst, garnet, and a pale green stone of some kind). I also have white gold hoop earrings, silver teardrop shaped earrings, and these long, thin dangly square earrings in silver.

I tend to swap between those seven dangle pairs and my diamond studs, wearing the WG hoops, the diamond studs, and my silver square ones the most right now. I have two holes in each ear but I almost never wear anything in the top hole because I don''t like the way it looks. I also change earrings a couple times a day if necessary. It''s an obsession!

I wear my 1cttw round diamond studs every day. Seven days a week. Once in a while when I''m going out with the girls and putting on a "girl''s night" outfit, I''ll wear fun earrings. Other than it''s my diamonds. They are currently set in yellow gold, but will get them reset into white gold at some point. Now that the price of gold is so high, I''m not in a rush. Hopefully it will come down at some point.

), but I used to wear my approx 2.03twct diamond studs on most days, alternating with the other earrings. Now, I wear my studs with my new-ish 2tcwt plus (not sure of the weight of the melee) pear jackets practically every day. I LUUVEEEE them!!

Oh, and my earrings are in 18ct WG. I am thinking that later, I will change them into platinum (I hate having to replate them) after I put them together as a single pair of earrings instead of studs + jackets.

I rarely wear the same pair of everydays but my .75 pair of studs probably get worn twice a week. My second most frequently worn pair of earrings is a pair of diamond dangle leverbacks I had made out of a pendant.

My everyday earrings are a pair of platinum martini set expert selection rb studs from Whiteflash (approx 0.70tcw), but I have a pair of platinum Daniel K Asscher studs (2.13tcw) coming from Pearlmans which will be my ''take me seriously'' earrings.

Will carry on with the rb martini''s for everyday and the asschers will mostly come out at night.

Perhaps, one day I might get my martini pendant and earrings made into a 3 stone ring as they''re a good match (all D''s with medium blue fluorescence). However I enjoy them as they are, so this is waaaaaaaay into the future!

I used to wear a lot of silver jewellery before I discovered pricescope, but these are now languishing away - only worn if I need something to keep my holes open if we''re going away on holiday and I''m afraid of getting mugged.
