He also has this beautiful blue chrysocolla blue-green druzy, with malachite on the other side. This would make an awesome pendant. Blue druzy

Enjoy!

That was my favourite as well. However, I have misgivings about the double sided pendant idea. While it would be stunning, I keep thinking of the druzy rubbing on skin/fabric while the malachite faced foward. This wouldn''t be good for anyone.

The royal rhodolite is looking good, as always. I also like charoite a lot, but the shaoe didn''t do it for me.

It sounds like Rick has been busy over the summer and that there will be more items coming. He writes in his fall newsletter:

"There will be much more in coming weeks. After this major upload which tends to focus on cabochons and phenomenal gems I’ll be listing new stones in smaller batches than in the past but more often, so check the website frequently to find new offerings. Some uploads will be unannounced and many will be one of a kind and won’t be repeated once they’re gone.

"Among other offerings in this and future new stone listings are more chrome tourmalines, fine red and pink Burmese spinels, lovely sapphires, some of those eye-catching “glow-y” perfect orange spessartites from Loliondo, new Tsavorites, some great new tourmaline cabochons, more “Strawberry Quartz” cabs and more of the very special blue-green faceted tourmalines from Namibia. Those are just highlights."

Yup - I am waiting for the blue-green tourmalines, myself.

A very cool drop indeed. I am glad he included pairs and I love the cat''s eyes

Thanks for the enabling and the reminder to save up my money for the FAB stones coming out soon!

Oooh, I like that parti-sapphire!

You guys have totally gotten to me. My baby sister is graduating from college in May and I''m can''t stop wondering if I could get my other sister to go in with me on making that sapphire into one of these.

That necklace would be lovely with a colored stone in it. Doesn't someone on PS have it in color?

ETA: I've been drooling over that Sapphire but didn't want to draw any attention to it! LOL

I''m so glad someone else is in love with it! Sorry to have drawn undue attention, though. I think I kind of hoped that would take the decision out of my hands! Stone Hunter, do it! And then send me pictures

I think my other sister would flip out if I suggested spending that much on the little sis''s grad present. Sigh.

I haven''t seen that pendant with color, but I''d love to. Bezel colored stones are my fave. I also love the JA pendant someone has that moves on the chain, but think the stone probably would want more light. This is all completely hypothetical, of course, as my sister would never let me.

I love this cut and color. Would these make good earrings? Someone needs to buy them before I become impulsive!

Ah, go ahead, LittleLovely. My guess is that Rick has more than one pair, anyhow, so no sense in waiting.

I expect that they will make gorgeous earrings.

Ah, yes...I do love to be enabled! If I were to pursue such a project, I would want to set them like these aquamarines...

I thought they were 8 x 6 EACH. That''s way too big for my ears. But I think they''d make lovely earring charms! So do buy them.

Nice choice. Your jeweler should have no problem reproducing those settings from Stuller findings.

I just checked, and they are 5 x 7. Here is a Stuller setting that is similar, made for a 5 x 7 mm emerald cut. Link

Fly Girl, thanks for showing me the link to that setting! It''s so tempting....
To be honest though, I want to set the stone in my avatar before I start on any new projects. I''ve been having a blast browsing PS for ideas!
Thanks again for the new stone update!

No problem, LittleLovely. I''m looking forward to hearing about the setting of that beautiful EC.

I''ve been having so much fun looking at everyone''s pictures. When I can, I''ll be sure to share some of my own!
