Hello PriceScopers! I wanted to show you my re-worked engagement ring. Here is the link to my previous ring: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-custom-engagement-ring.202095/
We took the ring in the previous post back to the jeweler. I decided that I wanted the princess to be set square, not kite. I also showed her that the halo was crooked. I wanted the center diamond to sit tighter inside of the halo. I was fine with a small gap, but I did not want a large space. After taking some more measurements, the jeweler said the best way to get my diamond to fit into a larger, rounded halo (which is what I asked for) would be to add a second halo. Who would argue with more diamonds!? She did NOT charge me for those diamonds, by the way.
Two weeks later, I get pictures of the ring in my email. I am MUCH happier with this finished product. I'm trying to get used to the extra bling, but I love her! Thank you PSers for all of the advice and inspiration.
