Now my Mum is back from holiday I took the opportunity of using her camera to take some clearer shots of my wedding ring. I brought it over to show her, also to help her load the pictures from her holiday as she is slightly technophobic and the thought of downloading photos sends her into a frenzy!

She loves my choice of wedding ring. She was involved in the final decision making as I was faffing between three rings.

Anyway, onto the new improved photos. Bear with me, there are quite a few! A quick reminder, my wedding band is a 5mm, 18ct white gold ring set with three rows of tiny, shimmering round cut diamonds totalling 1/3 ct.

Here we go:

My ring size as standard is a UK R, which is a US 8.5. The wedding band is 1.5 sizes bigger though, a UK S1/2.

I got a shock then I used the store wedding ring sizer to gague my size. I hadn''t realised that due to the width of the bands, wedding bands were generally at least a size or two bigger than the engagement ring. I initially got the wedding band in a size S and it fit perfectly, just snug, so I thought just half a size up would give it just a little room to accommodate changing finger size depending on the heat of my hands.

I have incredibly fat hands! (I am a larger girl though)

My e.ring is a size 8.5, but will have to be resized after the wedding to stop the finger pudge going on. It is uncomfy right now with the wedding band too. I am getting married in August so it will have to wait. If I resize the e.ring now it will be far too loose and I will end up losing it!

No stats on the diamonds in the wedding ring to share, other than that they total 1/3ct in weight. The ring is from a UK high street jewellery chain so they are likely to be J or K in colour.

I wish the sun was out properly so I could capture a shot of it shimmering!

It really is lovely, I love that the w-band stands up on it''s own so well.

I just love it, I bet it sparkles like crazy!

It really does Porridge...I can't wait to catch some great shots when I am wearing it full time!

Very pretty!!! I love how happy you look as well :) You have beautiful eyes too:)

The rings really suit you. They are very classic but classic with stye.

I have found that wide rings fit smaller. There is a tough balance between big enough to be compfortable and not so loose you lose the ring.

Very neat look. It looks like a set of stacking rings but it''s all in one. Looks great with your ering too!

Aw thank you asscherisme, you are very kind.

My eyes are the only feature of my face I like!!

I know what you mean about finding the right balance with the ring sizings. It is tempting to have the wedding band sized up by another hlf size too...not sure just yet. It wouldn't make much of a difference, only a millimetre or so...but that WOULD be the limit. After that it will definitely have to be the engagement ring that is resized.

I was just thinking the same thing! Your eyes are amazing!

BEAUTIFUL rings for a beautiful lady!

You and your rings look so happy together...beautiful!

Very pretty rings. Congratulations. If you get them put together you will need a larger size because they are harder to get on as one piece.

Love the triple row of diamonds! It turned out beautifully!
