will someone please explain the differences between brilliance, fire and scintilation to me in blonde polish simplistic terms? TYIA RMP

When you look at a diamond, the sparkle you see is light rays hitting the facets and bouncing back at you. This is called light return. When you think of it in terms of light return, it becomes easier:
-Brilliance is return of white light
-Fire is return of colored light
-Scintillation is the movement or bouncing of light that makes a diamond look sparkly
