Need wedding band advice - eternity or something wide?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide on a wedding band and would love to see your pictures! I got engaged and married back in 2009 - here are pictures of my engagement ring:

I was originally trying to find something I could wear with my engagement ring, but couldn't decide on anything, and decided to wear it by itself. However, after a year of people assuming I'm engaged rather than married because of the ring, I'm ready to replace it.

I really like the look of square diamonds for the eternity style setting. I'm also interested in something a little more unusual - like a really wide band. I remember seeing Gwen Stefani's wedding ring in a magazine and thinking it was fabulous. I found a picture of an antique ring that's sort of what I had in mind (no filigree):

Any suggestions?? If you post a pic, please include ballpark stats. I'm having trouble picturing TCW spread out over an entire band rather than just in a single stone (I'm a newbie). Thanks!

Have you looked at Beverly K wedding bands? The thick ones are gorgeous for stand-alone rings!

Random thought: if you still like your ering, have you thought about seeing if the setting could be modified to remove the 2 flanking rows of diamonds, leaving just the center band and your center stone? I'm not sure if it would even be possible, but I thought I'd throw it out there. You could then add a wedding band to your ering without it looking odd.

As for wide bands, I second the BevK suggestion! Pearlman's has a bunch that rock. Here's one of my favs.

Your ering is STUNNING.

I think you should get a great wider eternity band. The beverly K bands are beautiful or Simon G makes nice one to. Then you can wear either ring on either hand. My sister in law wears her wide eternity band now most the time as her wedding ring since she has kids. When she is going OUT she puts back on her ering and the wears band as her RHR.

If you are still thinking about trying to find some thing to wear on the same finger with ering. I think beverly k makes some lovely supper thin 1.2mm bands that would look very nice if you don't like a "matching" ring.

Your engagement ring is so unique, i like it!!

Wow! Thanks for all of the links. They've been great to look through this past week. I can't say that I've gotten much work done though! Do any of you know of an existing thread with lots of eternity band pictures? (Actual photos and not just from a store website.)
