Stone will be 0.75ct center with 0.25ct on each side. I like the three prong for the side stones, could you please give me a suggestions?

Also, let me know where should I get such setting.
Thanks!!!

I've always really loved this one from Knox Jewelers

ETA - If you look in the custom ring section, you can see this setting with different size/ proportions of stones.

joelly -

where are the stones coming from?

most stone vendors have settings you can use. i had a 3 stone until recently - very similar to yours - .25/.83/.25. i had it put in one of their own platinum setting by my jeweler.

here it is.

the only difference to this - and i would REALLY recommend you do this also - was that, instead of 4 prongs on the small diamonds (which i think woud have overwhelmed the little stones) they did 3 prongs, so it was the same prong configuration in the link that lucyandroger gave you. it was really pretty and it made them look somewhat like pears. it also meant the diamonds flowed into the band better. just be careful that the band either tapers, or is narrow enough where it joins the side diamonds; if the band is too wide there isn''t enough differentiation between it and the side stones, and the stones get sort of ''eaten'' visually, and dont stand out.

what size finger do you have?

this should look lovely on you!

That''s beautiful! I love that one too!

Joelly-

I saw in your other post that you''re going to go with the .25 side stones in the hopes that they''ll grow on you, and if they don''t you''ll change them to .50 stones. I just wanted to suggest that you mention this to your jeweller when you''re looking for settings to see if the setting can accomodate .50 sides should you want to change them out. (also, have you bought the diamonds yet? if you haven''t, check the upgrade policy of wherever you''re buying from since you sound unsure of what size you want).

I am infact under attack by myself. I find myself so indecisive. Its annoying. I wish my mom is here. She can talk sense into me. It''s just a setting, why should I be so anal about it? I guess I get a little crazy (a lot actually) about it being my first diamond ring. Eventhough my FI pay for it, he let me choose. I just making sure that I won''t regret it. If thats make sense.

The confusing thing about wanting a 0.5ct for each side actually is a result of coming into this forum. Seeing that other ppl ring are so big, I feel so envious and I thought it will look great on me. In fact, I also feel that it will be too much and I will soon have my finger full of diamonds and it takes away the elegant sense of it. If that make sense.

I know it''s hard to decide! There are so many gorgeous rings out that and having to settle on just one is difficult. Have you been to stores to try lots of things on?

Don''t let this site influence you too much when it comes to diamond size- there are a lot of really huge rocks around here! It''s not a very accurate representation of the real world, as the people who tend to end up here are the people who are really into diamonds! I think either size sidestones would look great- they''re just going to look different. If you aren''t 100% sure, go find some examples to try on in a store so you can compare. I was so sure I wanted a 1 ct asscher solitaire until I tried one on and discovered the 3 stone RB looked way better on my hand.

Hi!! I did tried around and thats how I met a 0.75ct center with 0.50ct on each side. I tried it on and its just too blingy. Although I like it but its too much for everyday wear, I think.
