What are the main differences between pave, micropave, melee, bead set, and shared prong settings? I''m mainly concerned about how they look different from eachother.

pave--numerous small stones "paving" an area of metal --held in place by tiny prongs
micropave--teeny weeny stones as above
melee--the term for the small stones used for such work
bead set--being held in place by small beads(as would a prong) of metal
shared prongs means that stones will actually share prongs-- between two stones metal separate the stones and prongs go in two directions holding a stone on either side

EDIT--as for shared prong...that would mainly be seen in a row of stones like a shared-prong eternity band. stones cannot share prongs unless there is metal separating them for the two sets of prongs to come off of--any help here by our esteemed panel.................is fine by me
