Option 2 from the second jeweler is about 300 more , so just looking for some quick feedback based on the numbers to which one might be just a bit better.

Thank you so very much!

Please?? any opinions at all, need to make choice tonight, otherwise can guarantee that it will be made in time. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

Can''t really tell how a princess perform by just numbers from a grading report, thus the lack of comment.

Need an ASET pic of the stone at least.

Sorry, we really need the pictures at least. Not much you can tell about princesses otherwise.

I hate to see you be painted into a corner due to time constraints....how long are you being quoted for making the ring?

I am being quoted about 10 -11 business days from start to finish, which is really making me antsy, because I already have the plans set for the proposal and they can NOT be changed.

I appreciate everyone''s opinion that they can not give an opinion based on numbers alone, but I really need some feedback just based on the numbers, so if it is all possible to give some feedback with the above information, I would so so greatly appreciate it.

Thank You so much!

I''m in total agreement that you will need visuals to make an informed decision.
It would be a disservice to you if someone does try to make an assessment based only on numbers.

But I can tell you that the making of a custom made ring does take time.
10-11 business days sounds totally reasonable.
But I can tell you from experience- there are unexpected things that sometimes happen during production. For example, sometimes parts need to be re-cast. This could easily add a few days to the timeline. I''m saying this because if you make plans that are based on the ring being ready- you could be disappointed.

That, in turn, might free you up from trying to make a purchase blind.....

Go with these numbers then, but please note that even when all the numbers are within the ideal cut, the stone can still not perform ideally.

Thank you for the link, I have tried to follow those guidelines and believe both stone options fall within the guide lines.

I just got pictures for the second (more expensive option) I am gonna try and attach them.

Also got a gemex light report:

To view the report go here:

and enter this report # DB101VS1G2500

here is another pic for the second option referenced above

the last one of the second option as mentioned above.

Please take a look at the pictures and the GemEx light report and let me know your opinions on these specific stones. Thank you so very much!

From what I can tell, the pics you posted look really nice. I like that strong X pattern in the second pic. The Gemex report is as good as a princess gets. The caveat is that Gemex is not the be-all and end-all of pretty rocks; not all experts really believe it means anything. But in my book, an excellent Gemex performance can't hurt.

Which lab did the grading...is it, like the other stones, GIA?

Anyway, I think it would be a nice choice.

Those numbers should be used as a guide only, don't get hung up on them sbrickman as you could lose out on some diamonds which could be good performers if they don't quite match up.

The photos of those diamonds look very nice.
