Just came back from Bailey Banks and Biddle last night to take a look at some Tacori''s. I get blinded by rings that I just needed to narrow down my selections. First off my GF ring size is 4 3/4 so I wanted to find a beautiful feminine ring since the ring will be small. The stone size for the main stone will be no larger than 1ct. I am leaning toward just under that. Ok here are the 2 rings. Tell me your opinions PLEASE.

First one is style 2573 - http://www.tacori.com/mm5/multi_view.php?styleNo=2573MDRD

Second is style 2616 - http://www.tacori.com/mm5/multi_view.php?styleNo=2616RD65

Hi Marley,

These are both beautiful, do you have a preference? I like the first one best but they are both exquisite.

I prefer the second one.

My vote is for the first one!!!--both are beautiful!

I like the second ring. Easier to fit with a wedding band too.

Cant go wrong with either (she''s a lucky girl) but I like the second one better...any chance of you posting
pictures of the wedding bands that go with them? That might could change my mind (well, I am a women

I love the second one.

I like the second one because the prongs on the first one are huge and also if she wants to wear a wedding band with it it''ll be easier to find something to look nice with #2.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I was just on the phone with Marie over at GOG to get prices on #2 because that is the one I am going with. I needed to make a decision, I''ve been looking at rings for months. Does anyone here have a Tacori in WG rather than PLAT? This setting in WG is more in my price range when I include a diamond, but for some reason I''m frightened of WG. It''s been force fed to me that WG is no good any longer and to go with PLAT. Help... thoughts.

Your opinions and guidance is appreciated believe me

Personally I would go with platinum. It is more secure than WG in my opinion especially in 4 prong setting. Platinum heads/prongs will bend where white gold will likely break or fail completely. You have a better chance at seeing a loose stone than a lost stone with platinum when compared to gold.

Do not make the decision hastily either because this will determine what her wedding band will be made out of. ou really should not mix metals because platinum will chew up gold. If you are having gold doubts, I would try and save for plat. The price is right these days too...

Also plat. displaces while gold chips or flakes so you will never lose weight with plat.

#2 in platinum - gorgeous!

I am on my second, 4 prong WG setting, for a total of almost 30 years wear with no problems. Depending on body chemistry, it will need dipped periodically, but that''s no big deal.

I am leaning towards #2, I think it''s more classic and timeless.

I''d go with platinum if you can because of all those tiny melee stones. Platinum will hold them in better over time.

Love the 2nd one!

Marley,

They are both stunning.
I say....buy both!!

Functionally I like the 2nd one- lower prong, easier to match and wear a wedding band.
However the 1st one is lovely on it''s own.

Having said that I would go with 2. As I use my hands for work, and so would like a more practical style of ring.
