Please help me I took this necklace to a local jeweler he said they are real baroque pearls but didn't tell me what kind of pearls or the value the necklace has been I my family for years he said the silver is high quality and it's probably 96% silver but he said due to store policy didn't want to tell me much more Abt the pearls but he strongly recommended I get it looked at because he thinks it could be worth more than I think so I am just trying to figure this necklace out pics attached 20220420_132009.jpg 20220420_131958.jpg 20220420_131921.jpg 20220425_134507.jpg

My first thought is that the jeweller didn't have a clue and was baffle-gabbing you. An item which is '96%' silver would not just be stamped 'silver' and have low-end commercial sterling silver clasp and chain. The links between the pearl settings are unsoldered which again points towards not high-end.
If the pearls are as blue as they look in some of your photos they could be baroque South Sea pearls. They look quite nice. A photo of the reverse would be helpful to assess whether the mounts are all the same or custom to each pearl. I am cringing a little bit at the points on the claws digging into the pearls in places.
The coin doesn't help assess size for those of us not familiar with US currency. A ruler perhaps?
