Here is my kind of new e-ring. It''s a 1.22 cushion with these specs:
7.58 x 6.36 x 3.58 (1.19 ratio)
F
VS2
G/G
thin- thick faceted girdle
59% table
56.3% depth
no culet
Size 4.5

I fell in love with the Daussi settings and found this stone (shallow like the Daussi cushions, but with more sparkle). I ended up getting the setting made by a jeweler, rather than going with Daussi because I wanted a few things changed- different prongs, diamonds underneath the setting, larger pave in the halo, etc.

The only concern I have is with the halo-tt has the same size pave all around except in the corners. There are two small pave in each corner. It seems like the corners are a little darker at times. What do you think?

I haven''t talked to my jeweler about it yet (I will be going there in the next week or so to get the ring sized down 1/2 a size). I think I''d like to bring the setting back to the jeweler to have the two small pave in each corner replaced with a larger pave to match the rest. Do you think this is possible? I.e., was there some reason that this was done in the first place? I was going for more of a rectangle look. Do you think the small pave in the corners are making it have the oval look it does?

Thank you for your opinions & expertise!!

I can only notice it ever so slightly because you mentioned it. If I just saw that picture I would think it was the lighting casting different shadows.

On the other hand, if its something that is always gonna bug you, then you should get it taken care of. You''ve spent a lot of money on this ring and it holds a lot of sentimental value as well. It should be perfect.

Regardless, its a gorgeous ring and it looks lovely on your fingers. Congrats!

Let me just say that you have a beautiful ring! I do see what you are talking about... It''s not THAT noticeable, but if it bothers you, perhaps your jeweler can do something for you.

Gorgeous ring! I agree with the others. It is slightly noticeable, but it''s still a lovely ring.

I think it is beautiful, but I agree, if it bothers you, it will probably always bother you.

Looks beautiful to me and I wouldn''t notice it at all but you''ll be wearing it and if it bugs you, get it changed.

First off, very beautiful ring

Second, I only saw what you were talking about because you pointed it out. If I had just been looking at the pics, I would not have noticed. I don''t think it''s as noticeable to others as you might feel. However, like everyone else said, if it''s always bothering you then just get it changed. Regardless though, it is a beautiful ring!

Your ring is simply stunning!

But, I do see what you have pointed out and think if it is going to bother you, you should make your ring exactly how you want it. I think the smaller pave on the corners are making your ring more of an oval shape rather than emphasizing the cushion shape. I would talk to the jeweler and see why he used smaller pave.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I only noticed it because you pointed it out too. I think it''s a beautiful ring but if that''s going to bother you, I''d get it changed now rather than leaving it a bit.

Beautiful ring, congratulations!
I can see what you are talking about, but I doubt that I would have noticed had you not mentioned it. Like the others have said, get it changed if it bothers you.

Gorgoeus ring! I think it looks great as is, but change it if it bothers you.

I see what you mean about the corners. Some people could love with it some people couldn't if you don't like it fix it.
But you have a GORGEOUS ring there.... thats the EXACT style size everything I'm looking for, so I'm drooling over here nonetheless!

good luck

I really like it. But I tried on alot of Daussi rings. I think you got it right. But if something bothers you address it with your jeweler.
