I''ve been looking at diamonds for a little while and i know the basics but not to the extent of what I see ya''ll know on here. I''m looking at this diamond and wanted to know what yall thought about it. Especially the dimensions, being that is the area i lack the most knowledge. Thanks

Can't tell much by the numbers, do you have any photos of the diamond and ASET images if the diamond is being sold online? Or have you seen it in person? Having said that on paper it shows potential but images are really needed to tell more. If the diamond is being sold online then you might be able to request images from the seller.

EGL are said to grade less strictly than GIA or AGS in some cases, do you know which EGL lab such as EGL USA, Israel etc this diamond has been graded by?

The diamond is in the store. I saw the diamond and it looks nice but I know I don''t have a trained eye. i found the EGL Certificate online but I don''t see where it says which lab it was graded at on that sheet.

I''m going to look at the stone again on thursday. it seems to be priced a little lower than expected which makes me wonder a little, but he said i could take it and have it appraised. what steps should i take before i purchase the stone since he will let me get it appraised? thanks for the info/help

Its really hard to tell and I don't want to mislead you, if you like the diamond get it in writing that you can return it for any reason should the diamond not check out to your satisfaction with an independant appraisal.
