Howdy folks,
been awhile since Ive posted as the ring I purchased is on her finger- she still gets compliments daily, so I''m happy with my choice (Round 1.25 Ideal,VS1,H).
But, now with the wedding only 40 days away(!!), she has changed her mind on the wedding band. The e-ring is set in a 6 prong Tiff style plat solitaire band with a bit of a knife edge, and initially she wanted a small plain plat band to match. But once she tried it on- she no likey. What she did like was the eternity style bands with the diamonds either channel or indiv prong set.
So- any suggestions as to vendors, and what to look for? Ive been told that with stones of this size- Totalcw approx .4-.6, that a cert is not possible. But, obviously I''d like to find a band that compliments the specs of the solitaire, but not overpower it. Oh- and the budget is around 1K.
Two rings that she liked were the Scott kay(obviously) but she, nor I, prefer not to pay for a name or blue box, for that matter...
Ideas?
many thanks.
