Need help with a halo pendant please

Hi all,

I have an approx 1.4ct round diamond that I want to make into an everyday necklace. I'm thinking halo to match my engagement ring, but can't decide on a style. Here are 3 styles that I like. It will likely by on a DBTY necklace, but can be plain. The first one is the simple halo that matches my engagement ring




But at times I'm also considering something slightly different, like this.


Thoughts/suggestions? Also, any recommendation as to who I should talk to regarding the design? I was thinking David Klass? anyone else?

What about these? They are rings, so you'd be looking at custom -- is that within your budget or are you looking for a stock setting?

You could totally get custom with that budget. For stock, most of the larger vendors have them. I'm pretty sure that ArtCarved, Ritani, Stuller, Unique Setting of New York.

Are you set on a round outline? Elle at the Gemstone Project has some amazing designs that would cross-walk on a pendant.

I love those as well! I was thinking round to kind of "match" it to my engagement ring.

Whom else for custom do you suggest? I thought of David Klass first.

I love the first one and the 2nd one is a close 2nd. I think those are both everyday very wearable.

I don't know if you really need to go custom, as there are probably lots of stock settings that could be done.
FWIW- I had 1 ct stone put into an 14K WG Adwar casting halo setting by a local to me B&M about 9 years ago and it cost me well under 1k.
