I am looking for a loose diamond with about 0.5 ct, G color and SI 1 clarity. I really like bright diamond with a lot of fire. But I cannot decide between two. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

1. http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-search#diamonds_pid=LD01756998
Diamond Specifications
Depth % 61.7
Table % 56
Crown Angle 34
Pavilion Angle 41
Measurements 5.00x5.01x3.09
Culet none
Fluorescence None
Girdle Thin to medium Faceted
Clarity Characteristics: Feather

2. http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2290972.htm
Diamond Specifications
Depth % 61.7
Table % 54.8
Crown Angle 34.3
Star 55
Pavilion Angle 40.8
Crown % 15.2
Lower Girdle % 76
Measurements 4.98x5.01x3.08
Culet Pointed
Fluorescence Negligible
Girdle Thin to Slightly Thick Faceted
Clarity Characteristics: Crystal, Needle

The one on Bluenile has GCAL certificate with 10* images, and the one on whiteflash has idealscope images etc. Is they does not differ a lot, I would go with the BN one because it is cheaper (for students, cask is KING) and it has laser inscription on the girdle so I know it will not be replaced when I take it to mount on a ring.
Again, thanx a lot for your comments.

The WF diamond also has laser inscription so that shouldn''t be a problem. Is this for an engagement ring? I''m not a diamond expert but you may want to check into return/upgrade policies for both vendors

Both are laser inscribed.

Both looks good. No way to tell if BN stone is a H&A as advertise as there is no hearts image.

Consider the possibility of upgrade? WF allows for an upgrade, with the total price of the stone put into the new stone while BN does not.

2 and 3 are the same stone.

Also, no way to tell if a stone is eye-clean from the inclusion map. Ask WF if they are eye-clean.

Ditto, best thing is to ask WF.

Thanx a lot. : D
I have a new questions:
IS this a terrible diamond?
http://www.agslab.com/pdf_sync_reports/1040406920051-PDQDFK.PDF
I can see that the feather are around the edge, so it might cause cracking while mounting? Less durable?

Any comments? Thanx.

looks promising from the numbers.

Regarding the inclusions, again no way to tell, you will need to ask the vendor.
