Hello, I am searching for a diamond on White Flash with a budget of around $4500-$5500. Since this purchase will be made online without ever seeing the stone, I would like it to have VS2 clarity unless you guys think I can find an SI1 that is pretty eye clean. As far as carat goes, somewhere along the range of 0.90+ ct would be fine. I know 1+ ct is where it starts to get even more expensive. For cut, I would like Excellent. Color: G-I. Any recommendations would be helpful.

What do you guys think of this diamond?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you, MissGotRocks. That diamond is lovely. Even though it is slightly more than I intended, it looks like it may be worth it. On the other hand, If I were to lower the budget of the diamond to about $3500-$4500, what specs would you guys recommend in this price range instead?

I think this is the next biggest one that is eye-clean and it is a G...

They also say this is eye-clean but I would prefer to stay a little cleaner so I didnt recommend this one for you

If you dont mind stepping down to an "I" you can gain a little size...this is an expert selection...eye-clean

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I have decided to go with a 0.9+ ct after all and have changed my budget to around $5500-$6500. I would like to stay close to 1 ct but not 1+ ct.

MissGotRocks recommended this diamond:

This diamond is great but I am not sure if it is worth getting a ACA instead of an Expert Selection diamond.
As far as color goes, the price for G and H are not too different at this size.. will I notice a difference since it is round diamond to begin with? The setting will be in platinum.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if I should go down on some of the 4 C's in order to get a bigger carat.. what do you guys recommend for a budget around $5500-$6500?

Thank you.

With that budget, you are still in the .90 range in G-H VS2-SI1 stones. There are about 10 ACAs that have those specs and they range from about $5800-6500. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

This is the lowest priced one at $5800.

Or you can go to a G or H VS2:
