Need help finding a similar setting... or must I go custom?

I want that really thin bezel part from the Tiffany Bezet Princess because I like how it makes the center stone look bigger and it's so clean, but I don't like the rounded, plain band. I made a mash-up of different rings in Photoshop to illustrate what I'm looking for:



Does anyone know where to find something like one of these? I don't know how custom settings go but I would like to keep the budget under $3,000 for platinum. I don't need the diamonds to go all the way around the band. What is the cheapest option to have something like this done? Is it as simple as just asking WF, JA, etc to change the head on one of their stock settings?

Thanks, I will check that out when I make up my mind!

I keep hearing that a bezel setting will make the center diamond look bigger - but then I also hear that the bezel will cover up some of the diamond and make it look smaller - what's the deal?

Do you think a prong setting with a thin halo would make the center look bigger than just a bezel setting? Or does a halo detract from the center diamond?

It really is just a personal opinion as to what is most pleasing to your eye. I think a halo makes the ring look more substantial but doesn't necessarily make a stone look bigger. If the halo diamonds are too large, then I can see where folks might think it makes the diamond look smaller. Have you gone and tried on halo rings both bezel and prong set?
