NEED HELP! Final Decision on Diamond!

i know the .50 is larger but i have MAD love for the .54 stone, the faceting is beautiful!

Yes it is really nice! Would that size difference be noticeable by the eye? I will be also using a halo setting!
 
You know my vote :lol:

.50 E/VS2 Its bigger, has a prettier faceting pattern, and a higher color.

Farrahlyn...the .50 is prettier! :mrgreen2: I guess that means he cant lose no matter which one he picks!
 
The .54 H would be my choice.

I like perfectly symmetrical cushions instead of the slightly elongated type like the .50 E and, more importantly, the .54 H has the AGS light performance report with it. I think this is VERY important in fancy shapes like cushions, as it's more difficult to confirm performance in fancies with the external angles and percentages alone.

Doubt you'd notice the difference in a halo.

:lol: DEFINITELY a win-win situation here!
 
The unfortunate thing about James Allen is that you typically cannot get ASETs from them, only IdealScope images (which is pretty useless in fancy shapes). So it's difficult to confirm performance. The .50 does look like it would be nice, but again, hard to say without images to prove it.
 
The size difference will be harder to tell in a halo. The non-square shape is going to be even hard to notice IMO.

James Allen has approved my request for an ASET on the .50, I will post when I receive it!
 
Personally I like the more rounded corners of the .54 but I think that the .50 looks brighter and if choosing between the two it would definitely be hard.
