Need help choosing between 2 diamonds - Superideal or GIA xxx (w/videos)

Hi all,

I'm coming down to the final decision between 2 diamonds and need your help! Based on the following videos and numbers which would you choose and why?

I’m trying to decide between a super ideal stone and a GIA xxx stone. Both have similar size color and clarity. Angles and measurements below

Thanks for the response @LLJsmom . Unfortunately I don’t have the ASET for both. What is it about diamond 2 that you prefer?

I tend to like the color of the flashes that can be found in Diamond 1 vs the predominantly yellow flashes in diamond 2. But I like the boldness of the flash in 2. Do you think the yellow flash in diamond 2 is the result of the type of lighting or is that inherent to the diamond and its angles?

In response to an earlier question, the HCAs are 1.1 and 1.3 respectively.

Voting #2 for the slightly shorter lgf, say. The difference is subtle, if anything.

To me all your videos are taken in different lighting so I think hat makes a difference. I certainly do not think I am comparing apples to apples when I look at the two videos in the two different lighting environments. Given that, I will say my favorite video is #2 in spotlighting. I don’t like the first video because there are sections of the diamond in the center that just don’t seem to light up and the flashes are not as sharp and distinctive. I see bigger and sharper flashes in the second video. I can see the yellower flashes in the second but it is just more color to my eyes. It’s not a negative. The first video shows a more drabby looking stone. And all of this maybe just due to lighting and environment (cause it seems like there are 4 different environments) so please take my comments with a whole shaker of salt.

Thanks for the response @valeria101. I think I’ve changed my mind 100x already on which one to purchase. The good thing is that I’m sure she’ll be happy to receive either one!
