Would love some assistance in picking out a loose oval diamond ring. I intend to set the diamond in a vintage-inspired Heidi Gibson setting in rose gold (https://www.heidigibson.com/designs/the-octagon-gatsby) so I'm looking for an oval that's slightly warmer.

Any opinions about these ovals?

I'd prefer to stay under $3500 (ideal price range is $2500-$3k) and would prefer 1.10 - 1.4 carats. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum :)

The JA one has attractive faceting to my eyes and performs pretty well - minimal 'bow tie', any 'tilt-windowing' only happens at more extreme angles, looks pretty eye-clean in the video, despite having a large black inclusion visible from the side. Look at the thickness of the girdle, though! :o It is so thick that you are losing 'spread' (physical size) because the weight is being carried in the girdle. It does have a nice high crown, though, which should help produce coloured fire.

I can't get the other two videos to work on this computer, unfortunately, but the P&S stone looks to have inclusions that are obvious, which is something I personally would avoid (because I am a clarity freak ;-) )

I will try to have a look for other options later!
