Hi everyone, Im so taken in by the beautiful eternity bands here that I think I want one as a rhr. It doesnt have to be full as I dont know if I want diamonds underneith!!!!

Anyway, assuming price is (almosy) no object, but for paying for what can be seen with the naked eye, what brand should I go with. I want it to be so firey that it defies belief around my side of town!!!! I want to be blown away by the colors in the prism effect that you get with a top cut diamond. I want it to be pretty and delicate, a continuous ring of bling, not a ring of large rbs next to each other. Im not sure if it should be chanel set with milgrain or prong set, but it has to be worth me ordering from OS all the way from Aust.!!!!!! So any advice on the most on fire eternity band that exists for sale????

ETA. it can be a full eternity band if spinning is an issue!!! But I dont want a ring that is wide or high due to high set diamonds.

Tiffany actually makes my all time favorite eternity band. I love the basket setting making the side view incredible. it is also set low which i like. Harry Winston makes a beautiful band as well. Leon Mege has a version of the Tiffany band on his site. Memoire would be my second choice. Thay are incredibly well crafted with details of the process on their site. www.memoire.com...

I tend toward princess cuts myself, but they won''t give you the same fire as RB''s I think. They do keep the look nice and sleek though.

If you want sparkle, pave might be an option? Or bead set RB''s?

Thanks Mrssalvo and Splinter. I will follow up all the leads. Any knowl;edge on approx. costs from these various sellers? Id be really interested in T. prices, will I get a shock????

Might be worth having a browse through the gallery threads to get some ideas of what you want exactly. Then just hit the various vendors'' sites to see if you can find a match.

HI:

I am biased but I like my asscher eternity ring. It sparkles like mad--and I used to wear a rb eternity ring. Altho I don''t wear it with my ER (together it is simply OTT)--I can with a 2mm spacer. Are you sure you do not want to wait until your ER is being reset to see how it feels on its own? Or is this a RHR?

cheers--Sharon

Hi try signed pieces or craigslist.

I just got a great .27 ctw. prong-set 9 diamond band (T&Co.) for $1,500.

Retail $2,795.

Canuk gal, you sort of read my mind about my er!!!! I dont think that it will go with an eternity band because it almost looks like 3 very fine eternity bands already!!! And I was sort of kicking myself that I never tested the option of a very plain er setting with an eternity band. It never occured to me until .....`NOW`.

. It`s because I forgot that you can wear two rings that compliment each other as I havent worn a wedding ring for over 10 years. Anyway, Im sort of left thinking about this eternity band for my right hand as a stand alone.

I could always go back to the drawing board and just wear my original er with the eternity band also!!!!!!

I love eternity bands. For a while, I was considering one as an e-ring. I fell in love with the Harry Winston ones...however, they are costly. A 2.98 cttw size 6 was about $12,000- It had the most perfect setting I had ever seen, and the diamonds were amazing........Tiffany''s also makes a similar one (as does just about any jeweler).

As for style and size, the shared-prong is my favorite and I think anything in the 2.5-3.5cttw range is just spectacular!

I forgot to add that someone is selling two Harry Winston eternity rings on craigslist (NYC). They are much cheaper than the original price......so if you are a size 6- get them!!!!! (And if you only need one, I will take/buy the other

My head spins when I think of all the beautiful eye candy out there!!! So many variations, so hard to choose!

I can imagine the HW being quite superb, and very fitting for an er. There is something about a quality setting that really takes a ring to a whole other level. I must admit I have never really known about these things before. Sometimes innocence is bliss!!!!

For me, Im thinking of a delicate ring that sparkles but is not about the size of the diamonds. For the first time I think I am choosing a look rather than just going for more diamonds. Im pretty sure that I want to keep the ring around 2 mm, especially after I realised my finger isnt that long where the ring sits. Also, realisatically I wouldnt consider spending 10 grand plus on this eternity band. Ideally I would want to spend about $2500. But this time I will try on many before I pull the trigger.

2mm band must look really elegant on the finger.

I am temped to go search for that HW ring on the CL.

Heather
