Hi all, been lurking on-off for a few years. Am finally going to reset my e-ring diamond for our 2nd wedding anniversary, need some advice pls. The setting I'd like is somewhat like the attached pic which I think shows a 1ct centre. 
I'm re-using my existing e-ring diamond as the center BR- 0.6ct, F, VS2, no fluor., table 60% depth 61.7%, ~5.5mm diameter. Hence to retain same design proportions, mine will be a much smaller version of the pictured ring, needing smaller side marquise and BRs? In F, VS2 too?
For the 4 marquise- I'm very unfamiliar with this cut, what size marquise?
For the 2 BRs- perhaps each BR 0.15ct? Any input?
Additionally, instead of the plain band in the picture, I'd like a row of BRs like in an eternity ring. Using same basket type of claw settings (sorry, how do I describe the kind of setting holding the diamonds in the picture?). I'm thinking each BR 0.04ct? How do I estimate the qty. needed for ring size 6?
I'm in Asia- consulted a local jeweller who will source for these side-stones and do the setting. Yet to revert with a quotation but I think it'd be prohibitively expensive for me due to mark-ups.
Workmanship is cheaper here comparatively, I'm wondering if I should just order the stones myself from say, DCD (any recs for other places), and pay for only setting costs here? How much can I expect to pay for these stones?
It seems the end result has little "metal", lots of small diamonds... so will the price difference for platinum vs white-gold be significant?
