Hello everyone,

I''ve been looking at quite a few diamonds and am looking for a balance between size/budget and quality. I found a diamond that has a lot of potential (in my eyes of course) and was wondering if I could get any helpful input from you Pricescopers. Here are the specs:

Ideal Cut, G, VS2

Table Percentage: 56 %
Depth Percentage: 61.2 %
Crown Angle: 33.5
Pavilion Angle: 41
Girdle: Thin to Medium, Faceted

Polish: EX
Symmetry: EX
No Culet
No Fluorescence

Measurements: 7.8 x 7.83 x 4.78 mm

Does this look like it would have a lot of light leakage or is it fine? I''m not an expert so I appreciate everyone''s help. Thanks in advance!

Looks promising, do you have an Idealscope image of the diamond please? From the info given it should not leak and could be a very lovely diamond, but an IS image would be very helpful. If you aren't familiar with these images which some vendors can supply, this page explains

Have you seen the diamond or is it with an online vendor? GIA report I assume? What is the weight of the diamond?

Number looks good. Any images?

Thank you guys! It''s a 1.77 GIA cert. It''s on BN so I can''t get an IS on it. Any recommendations? Thanks again!

Any reason you want to buy from BN?

If so, then you will have to buy just based on numbers. But the numbers are quite safe.

It''s relatively flexible but I''d like to stay around $15,000 for the diamond. Can go up to maybe $16,000 max but I''d be more comfortable anywhere below $15,000. Anything cheaper is, of course, a plus. Thanks!

No particular allegiance to BN, just came across this and it looked like it had potential. I''m open to any reputable online vendor.

These 2 WF ACA?

Under 15k if you use wire-transfer with PS discount.

1.72c H VS2, stone not in-house yet, should be in soon as report is up.

1.72c G SI1, check with WF to make sure it is eye-clean.

Or JA stone,
1.69c G VS1

Sorry, can''t find anything bigger that looks good for your budget.

Thanks so much! My only hesitation with an AGS is that I''ve read they are more loose about their color grading. Should this be a significant or minute issue?

AGS and GIA are top tier labs. Their grading are comparable. As GIA is setting the standard, changes they make will result in AGS lagging slightly behind.

I don't believe it is a significant issue from the amount of time I have been here and the huge amount of AGS diamonds I have seen being discussed. Get an independant appraisal on your selection to give you peace of mind, check out this appraiser tool.
