Need a few pointers.

Hello all, I have been lurking these forums trying to get a feel for what to expect when I wanted to get down on one knee and that time is drawing closer. I plan to drop the question soon and I need some pointers. So far I know that I want 1 carat and the style that I like is the Tiffany Nuvo. If you all could show me how I could get that style or something similar for a slightly lower price then it would be excellent. Right now my budget is $9k.
