GOG one says sold?

1st JA: not really digging the dark center...but it's a common place for low angle light, not obstruction, so if you really want D VVS1 with strong blue fluor, get an Ideal Scope pic
2nd doesn't have a pic

Hopefully that''s you who''s purchased the GOG option. I would favor it anyway, particularly for its certificate, and for getting what you need on color & clarity.

No unfortunately it was not me, it showed it was available when I posted this morning. Well looks like I am down to 2.

Julie - do you see the polish and symmetry only having a good rating as a problem for your 2nd recommendation?

It is inherently more difficult to get excellent marks on finish for fancies.

As long as the deductions for polish and symmetry are not visible to the naked eye, it doesn't matter.

I'm more interested in the Ideal Scope pictures, and maybe ASET if possible, than the finish marks.

I'm assuming you're looking D-F, IF-VS2, <5500?

It has the bold look characteristic of 2 chevron AGS PR.

I don''t think it''s a suitable replacement, though, in terms of size difference.

Once you''re open to G, that opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

I am open to G. I would say D-G, VS2 is my limit on clarity. I really want the best fire and sparkle. I could care less if that meant a tenth of a carat less when comparing 2 diamonds

I guess one tenth of a carat doesn''t seem like that much.

Princesses have less face up surface area than rounds. While some may speak of optical illusions where two stones of equal weight, one RB and one PR, /seem/ to look the same, the .8 G has the same face-up surface area as a Tolk round of about 3/4 carat.

Around $5500 for diamond. Will be in platinum solitaire setting with some side engraving most likely.
