If you are as indecisive as I am, (20 years for me) What are three things you have now learned in your search for the perfect engagement ring? For example: Something you know you don't like for yourself, even if it looks awesome on others.

I'll go first, lol
1. I like white metals on me! Oh, how I love yellow on other people though!

2. I don't like fancy on me. It's plain and simple classics only, or I don't wear it. Gorgeous on anyone else!

3. I like colorless and excellent cut on me, although my mouth has watered over chunky cuts with color on other people!

1. I prefer a cathedral shoulder.

2. This is a sad realization, but I can’t stack more than 3 rings at a time without it looking ridiculous on my short fingers.

3. While I just adore those intricately designed and paved settings, sleek and simple are where it’s at for me.

Things I don't care for: cushion cuts except if they are in fancy colors.
Things I like: colorless diamonds, solitaire rings, platinum, fancy-colored diamonds, emerald cut diamonds.
Things I never thought I'd consider but after seeing them on other people, I would now: old European cut diamonds, 18k yellow gold, oval cuts, halos.

I'm right there with you on 2 and 3 especially, and I only wear one band at a time 99% of the time lol
