My wants this ring - is it worth it?

Hi there,

This is my first post and I need your help. My wife took a shine (no pun intended) to this ring from this EBay vendor and it appears to be also listed on another vendor''s listing:

Is this something I should pursue or do you have better recommendations for similar ring and pricepoint.

I will be in NYC in a couple of weeks. Would I be better off dealing with one of Pricescope''s recommended merchants?

I''d recommend checking out an online vendor that has a great return policy and an good reputation for quality stones. IMO if your going to spend 8k on a stone...I''d stick with a trusted vendor instead of ebay.

honestly, there are just way to many horror stories to risk that kind of money on ebay. there are only 2 sellers that I would chance it with and that is Signed Pieces and Diamonds By Lauren who are both very reputable and have stores but do sell on ebay.

I think your best bet is to try and find a pricescope vendor to work with. Mark T of Engagementringsdirect is in NYC and Jonathan who runs GoodoldGold which is just a short train ride from NYC are both very reputable and would be who I would recommend.
