i got a 1.5 carat radiant cut, colour F with vvs1 clarity but dont like my setting. i talked to my FI bout it so i get to pick my own setting OR CHANGE MY RING. OUR BUDGET IS 8,000. I HAVE NO CLUE.

PLEASE SEND ME LINKS OF DIFFERENT SETTINGS ( THAT WILL MAKE A 1.5 RADIANT LOOK GREAT) N RINGS. I LOVE SQUARES.

Check out these designers and manufacturers for ideas ... but you''re really better off going to the better local B&M stores and seeing the real settings as the website pictures are blown up and may give a false impression.

You could a simple solitaire by Leon Mege or Mark Morrell and have a blingy wband with it.

Also by LM, you could do a delicate band with a halo (this is a 1ct center, so yours would look bigger and I imagine more rectangular):

For something more substantial, you could go with a halo and trapezoid or other squarish sides by Beaudry (or a style like Beaudry... the diamond pictures is a 5ct, so yours would look smaller): Beaudry rings at Pearlmans

$8,000 for the setting or is that the budget if you start over completely, stone and setting? I LOVE Leon''s work......I LUST after his work I should say.
