My pretty pretty Princess!

I've never owned a princess cut diamond - or colored stone, for that matter - before. I know they can be tricky. I bought this pendant yesterday at Costco! My first diamond from Costco. It's listed as I color / VS2 clarity but I suspect it's higher than that in both categories as it is very bright white and has lovely facets and is perfect under my 10x loupe. I'm thrilled with my purchase! It was a discontinued item so I got another $500 off of the price. It's .70ct. It's pictured below with my .17ct Tiffany heart pendant.

I did just buy my 2ctw diamond hoops from IDJ about 3 weeks ago, seen in my last pic. I guess I needed more sparkles!

That's very pretty! Would you mind sharing roughly how much that cost? The shape is so unique! You have a heart and a diamond shaped necklaces... now you just need a clover and a spade!

I learned by talking to a Costco manager that if there is an asterisk (*) on the description card in the jewelry case, it means that items is discontinued and, possibly, marked down. If the price ends in $XXXX.97 it is at it's final markdown. Mine was $1499.99 for a sizable and very nice stone. The original tag that came with the box was $2199.99. $700 off despite my saying it was $500 off earlier - my math isn't great, lol. I'm thrilled with my purchase. I totally need more shapes for my diamond necklace stack.

I got a better pic of my stack. My chest looks old. I'm 40, and grew up in So Cal, I guess that's what I get.
My chains do tangle, I just deal with it, I guess. It is what it is.
