This is my new black opal ring. I hope the pictures come out.

Opinions, anyone?

From the side, does it look like a doublet?

It's darker in person--the camera flash really brings out the colors.

What a pretty ring, Glitter. You did good.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but my gut instinct is that it is not a doublet.

The mounting is a modern mounting, which looks to be of nice quality.
