I bought this bracelet some months ago and was ambivalent about it because I got a stupid good deal on it, but while I did like it, it bothered me that the central stone was nice, bright and white while others were more brownish in tone. Normally I don’t consider myself color sensitive, so it was surprising that it was bugging me, but it was bugging me. I actually was trying to follow that rule of “it I don’t 100% love it, I need to let it go” so I sent it back. The next day I regretted it and recalled the package lol.
So I wore it, but it still continued to bother me. I decided to order a couple of loose stones on eBay that were whiter and brighter, and send it off to DK to swap out some of the stones and also to rhodium plate the part that flanks the stones. I figured that would make them pop more. I also asked that he add engraving to the sides.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am loath to do stuff like this. I hate to even pay to size a ring lol. I was nervous, thinking, “Am I just putting lipstick on a pig?”. But I received it in the mail last week and I was BLOWN AWAY. It came out even more perfect than I imagined. Thank you to @lulu_ma @Inked @maryjane04 and @oldcutclubmember for listening to me agonize.
Here are the before pictures (the drawn arrows are from when I was pointing out the white stones and the off color stones to those PSers aforementioned - they all helped to convince me to keep the bracelet).

And here is after - I am posting vid links first because it's so much better (though youtube compresses - grrr). When I try to photograph it looks a bit overexposed, but I tried my best.

Ok I am trying to put after pics but when i attach them they rotate. It's super annoying. Going to try to put them in a reply.
