Another ring I wasn’t looking for, but found me! Oops
No paperwork
Sold as an “N/O” color and approx 1.54 ct. VS
A transitional cut I believe

I’m just not sure if it’s “love at first sight”? And I don’t know why!
I don’t mind the warmth, I like uniqueness, I LOVE vintage

I does feel HUGE to me, especially in this setting!


Anyway. I wanted to share

My husband is taking the ring (and me ) out to dinner tonight and I can take it for a real life test drive! Lol

I do love this ring!

I think my ambivalence is for a few reasons:

1. I wasn’t sure it really **sparkled**I think it’s just a different sparkle than I’m used to. It may be the color throwing me off as well and my eyes need to adjust.
2. Even though my heart was still craving a vintage ring, I had JUST really learned to love and accept my solitaire for what it was. So I wasn’t actively looking. I got this from Dolly and you know she is the finder of greatness at great prices so I really felt I needed to jump on it or regret it lol
3. Also, getting used to platinum = not “shiny” and the stone almost blends into the setting and doesn’t “pop”
4. So basically first world , and obsessive problems lol. If you would have popped this on my finger before I made any other purchases I would have been thrilled and said this is it!!

So… I sent it to the “Lab”. And the lab approves!

All my worries are gone, this ring was meant for me. My concerns were really just me being all in my head about this unplanned purchase.
I’m over that now lol

I was minding my own business looking through Dolly’s Instagram lol (xothebijouxbox) and noticed this hadn’t sold yet. I kept coming back to it. I’ve purchased from her before and been very happy, she gave a slight discount and I couldn’t pass it up!

I learned this after some research! I like to but first, research later Lolol. It does seem to “shimmer” in some lights vs sparkle. And ofc sparkle in other lights.
We are a good fit, both very moody
