My new sparkles...

So, some of you may remember that I wanted to switch my 2ct Square Emerald Cut Diamond out of my solid platinum ring setting. I switched it to a 14kt white gold halo and then took it out of the halo and returned it (lucky, I know...but there were flaws on the setting so the jeweler took it back on that note)...but after careful discussions with my soon-to-be husband, we decided to leave the ring alone. It is simple, and I am just a simple girl...

But, as a surprise, he took my to our local Tiffany store (in Philly) and bought my these diamond earrings...I love them...

UPDATE: SORRY IT IS SO BIG...IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP (IT WAS BEFORE I FOUND A RING CLEANER)....It looks like an I3, but it is a VS1...

FireGoddess...I know. Very dirty ring picture... It sure doesn''t look like a GIA VSI...The power of ring cleaner is AMAZING!

The platinum diamond Tiffany Cross Stich earrings look pretty small on the ear...but the size bigger was $500 or so more and I am pretty small (5''0)...so they look good on this plain girl.

Diamond fan, yes...I live in University City. I am a grad student at Penn (I was in NYC last year when I got a MS at Columbia)...Maybe we can set up a Philly girls event...since there was a Los Angeles/San Diego one and a Bay Area one!

Yes, my real name is Danielle too, "Dani", or "D" for short- everyone calls me different things... I answer to all of my nicknames!!!

Tiffany''s is very expensive, but I must say the prices are NEARLY as bad for their diamond/platinum stuff as it is for their silver jewelry. I have some of the silver bracelets and necklaces, and always hated knowing they cost so much!!!!!!

As for my e-ring and diamond band...I am lucky to have such a nice set, but just lucky to have such a great guy!
