my new setting

I JUST RECIEVED MY NEW E-RING SETTING. I HAD A LOVELY V PRONG TIFFANY STYLE PRINCESS SETTING BUT ME AND MY FIANCE WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND ANY WEDDING BANDS TO MATCH THE RING WITHOUT LEAVING A BIG GAP BETWEEN THE RINGS. SO MY FIANCE AND I DECIDED TO CHANGE A NEW SETTING.

I HAVE THE PICTURES IN A CD . BUT WHEN I FOLLOWED THE STEPS IT SAID I HAD A READ ONLY FILE. ????

I think you need to copy them to a folder, name them and download away.

yeah can you open it and then go to save as and save it to your desktop? then open thru paint?

WHEN I TRIED TO SAVE IT TO MY DESK TOP THAT IS WAT IS SAID! I DIDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS BEFORE UNTILL I UPLOADED THE KODAK PICTURE CD INTO MY SYSTEM.

1) INSERT CD
2) GO TO START
3) PROGRAM
4) ACCESSORIES
5) PAINT
6) OPEN PAINT
7) FILE
OPEN
9) LOOK IN : FOR MY CD PICTURES
10) CHOOSE THE PICTURE
11) PICTURE OPENS ( BIG)
12) GO TO IMAGE
13) RESIZE
14) I PUT IN 25
15) HIT OK
16) SAVE AS
17 I CHOOSE DESKTOP

AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?

hm, i dont know. that''s strange. you should be able to do save as and save to your desktop. can you email them?

Not likely... but try to open the CD into "My Computer", copy one file as is onto desktop. If this works, you may want to right click on the file to display a drop-down many and un-select "Read Only" on "Properties".

Try right clicking on the image and selecting properties. There should be a couple of boxes along hte bottom, one of which is read only. If that box is checked, uncheck it and try to save again.

Edsited to say- replying at same time as Vlaeria...double info!

THX FOR EVERYONE''S ADVICE. BUT I CANT STILL DO IT. I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH THE NEW KODAK PICTURE CD I INSTALLED INTO MY SYSTEM. EVEN AFTER REMOVING THE PROGRAM I STILL CANT SEEM TO UPLOAD. BUT I JUST EMAIL SEVENS ONE. SO WHEN SHE GETS A CHANCE. SHE WILL HELP ME UPLOAD THE PICTURES.
