So, I didn't get any bling for Christmas, but I did get some new dishes -- Lenox's new "Winter Song" pattern. I love them!

I also got some new flatware -- Williams Sonoma "Aaron."

Our 13th anniversary was December 27th, and I'm not really that into citrines or textiles, which are the traditional gifts for the 13th anniversary. DH was so sweet to get these for me!

I agree! In fact, I am going to have to go to some site that has a larger picture of your pattern because I want to get a closer view of that berry (which I think is supposed to be a holly berry?). I love Christmas patterns, although I truly cannot buy anymore Christmas china! My house in Virginia is bursting with it...and I am not even there to use it!

Yes, they are holly berries! This is my first set of holiday china. Until now, everything has been way too formal (in which case, I could just use my good china!) or too "country" looking, which is definitely not my style. These, IMHO, are the perfect balance between formal and casual.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm really going to enjoy them.

Oh, LC, they are the perfect mix of formal and informal! What a lovely hubby you have :appl: Enjoy!

The birds are beautiful, congrats!

I love them! And I'm not someone who likes a lot of holiday themed dishware.

Oh my gosh, I love your dishes!! They're beautiful! Decorative painting is a hobby of mine, and in particular I love to paint dishes, glassware and kitchen items, so I'm almost obsessively drawn to china and dishware patterns. I love everything about these - the colors, composition, design and placement. I really like the flatware as well...very elegant and classic. What a special treat it will be to take these out every year! Thanks for sharing with us!

Again, thanks for the compliments everyone!

I used them for brunch this morning, and I do have to say they were fun.

Note: The plates are very large! I ended up having to hand wash them b/c they didn't fit in the dishwasher -- well, they did, but the spinning thing in there was going to bang them. Yikes! They're a full inch bigger than my Fiestaware. Oh well. It's a small price to pay...
