Several months ago you PSers were kind enough to offer prayers, dust and hugs for my neice's baby when he was in the ICU with severe heart problems. In his short life Matthew has had 6 serious procedures and several not-so-serious. He was in Intensive Care for 2 1/2 months but FINALLY he was allowed to come home. My neice and her husband had to learn to insert a feeding tube down his nasal passage and how to administer oxygen. No-one is allowed to visit for fear of infection. He has a different doctor appoint every day. This is all the info they have given us. My SIL,the grandmother, has seen him 4 times since he was born.

I honestly don't know where my neice is getting her strength. She has been by her child's side EVERY day, sleeping at the hospital the whole times. She is totally focused on the task at hand.

If you can spare anymore prayer, dust or positive thoughts, please keep little Matthew {and his parents} in your thoughts.

thank you.

I was actually wondering about Matthew the other day. I was afraid he'd gone. Continued prayers for your niece and her family.

I cannot imagine going through something like this. My thoughts are with your niece and her family.

Will keep him in my thoughts!

Poor little Matthew. I will be thinking of him.

In Holland, we say "sterkte"... meaning strength. May you and your family continue strong and united and see Matthew through his challenges. All my love and warm wishes to you all. *dust dust dust*

i really hope that he comes out of this horrible experience a strong, healthy baby. *sending dust your way*

Prayers going out to the little guy!

Your sister is a wonderful mother. It takes a huge amount of strength to cope with a poorly baby. I admire her greatly and send lots of love and prayers.

Thank you SOOOOO much.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. He definitely sounds like a strong little fighter! He will be in my thoughts and prayers.
