My mom''s unique rings

Here are my mother''s two rings. The diamond/ruby ring is her wedding ring, and the other is an rhr, made up of stones from mis-matched earring sets. The wedding ring used to be just hammered gold, then she added the rubies (all over the band), then she had this designed, but had a large, square-ish citrine in the middle. She actually won these diamonds at an auction for $50!! (No idea on the specs, as they are not certed and I haven''t had a chance to loupe them)
The rhr ring is an aquamarine, a tourmaline, and a small diamond. She likes funky, non-conventional type jewelery.

The stones aren''t really that yellow in real life, the lights on her bathroom have a yellow-ish tint.

LOL Tuckins, I''d be the same way. My jeweler "hates" me because when I try on rings, I can always spot a missing stone. Cool rings though, thank you (and your mom) for letting us see them.

Thank you all for your kind words... My mom is definitely a character. She NEVER buys store stuff. She either wears estate pieces, or has her jewelery designed for her. (She has close friends who are jewelers) She would NEVER wear anything like my ring- It''s too normal for her!
