It all started with this ring, the Caresse d'Orchidees in onyx and white gold.

Cartier's aesthetic doesn't usually suit me (I'm not exactly edgy  ), but this collection is completely me. I mentioned in another thread that orchids were my wedding flower, and my family always had orchids in the house when I was growing up. I scoured the web for other pieces from this line, as it's been discontinued for several years. I'm ultimately a ring gal, so it had to be another ring. Specifically, the "myrtille" ring. There actually is a hybrid orchid called the Phalaenopsis Jiaho Blueberry. I'd have taken photos with it if it'd been available.

Oh wow this is an amazing piece and work of art! I love how it resonates with you, it makes it extra special! You wear it well, you could totally pull off edgy. Wear it in good health!

Wow! So don’t just wear this in your daily life? Or you have many fancy events? This seems edgy to me!

This is stunning! And your garden of orchids is so beautiful. I love how you have them in all different colours!

If I remember correctly, there was also a pink version… in case you needed any more enabling :evil2:

This is gorgeous and we all know orchids have some symbolism in art, but in the pink color this is a little naughty looking!

Thanks, Dreamer! I've been wearing it every day as a RHR. It's surprisingly very comfortable and wearable! Can't wait to see how your carre cut band will turn out.

Thank you, Pomelo! Don't think I didn't already consider this one, lol. I wanted pieces that popped, though, and this pink would just blend into my skin tone. Btw, I love how you pair your pave black ceramic Trinity.

Thanks very much, Ally! Your new antique bands are gorgeous and so special.

Please share on PS if you do buy it! I never see these pieces in the wild and want to see more of them.

Thanks so much, MissGotRocks! Can we see a "family" photo of all your beautiful ACAs some time?

Your pieces are seriously works of art. So happy for you!

I will work on it Kim! Thanks for asking!

I love that you wear that daily! Such glamour deserves to be enjoyed

Thank you, lovedogs, I really appreciate your kind words! Do you still wear your stunning DM orchid pendant?

I love this. Such a shame that they discontinued the line but on the other hand it makes it feel more special.

Oh, definitely! All my pieces are for daily wear. Who cares if they look overdressed with jeans and sneakers?

These pieces are gorgeous, @Kim N ! And, I love your sentiment! I'd be buying shirts/tees that would "match" these
pieces just so I could wear them!

Wow, those are gorgeous!

This ring is... it's... it's one of the prettiest things I've ever seen in my life. I thought it was a momma and baby butterfly at first! Either way, the design and color story are incredible. Big congrats and enjoy!!

Congratulations they are wonderful and look fabulous.

She’s glorious and I love, love the color palette!

Thanks, CMN, I agree! Can I just say, your Paspaley necklace is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen? A piece from Paspaley has been on my list ever since you posted yours.

Thank you, tyty333! Ooh, that's a great idea. I love wearing jewel tones anyway, but I could lean further into the blues and purples. Are you still enjoying your gorgeous 3-stone?
